Musburger is a total idiot. He talks incessantly about everything but the game and these "asides" aren't even amusing. His name dropping, monotonous drone, and his untimely inflection are nauseating. The Pro Bowlers Tour is missing a perfect announcer. - Review by Ken

What an idiot. Lat night I'm watching USC v. OSU. Barkley runs a bootleg pass and Musburger calls it a naked bootleg, mostly to save face because earlier he had said USC likes to run the naked bootleg, a running play which I've never seen them do. He is without a doubt the worst announcer in the history of sports. His commentary at the Little league World Series was pathetic. I'll never forget the first Big 12 Champ game years ago. Brent Dunderhead called the game. There was a running play, and OBVIOUSLY a fumble on the play...Brent called it a "first down" while the camera showed the ball rolling around on the field. There are not many announcers that I really LIKE, most I can take or leave, but WHY ANYONE INSISTS ON PUTTING AN IDIOT IN THERE, I'll NEVER KNOW !!!

Just shut up and really watch the game. Several times during the LLWS he talked without giving the batter's name. Then he was so busy talking he didn't report the action on the field. (Example: See 5th inning of the U.S. championship game) Give it up, Brent!!! - Review by Pete

What a joke...think he is a Notre Dame fan for the night? I am no Alabama fan. I have watched them dominate my favorite team since Saban arrived, but if Musburger was any more obvious about his bias toward Notre Dame, he might as well have gone down to the field and played himself.
